The photo is a representation of the Chunky food safe oval dough bowl you will receive. Hand carved, these chunky deep, oval wooden dough bowls(bateas) are solid and great looking. Because these are food safe and we have to add a food safe sealer, they will be a little shiny at first. But with time and use, that will diminish.
This one measures about 15-16 Wide x 18-19L x 3-4D inches. We have had a lot of requests for bowls that are food safe. Happy to say we have finally done that. We have added 5 coats of food safe sealer to these chunky bowls.
NOTE: Please understand that these bowls are a natural handmade product and will never be "perfect" That is what makes them rustic and beautiful. Tone, smoothness, shape,etc, all rustic and never machine made. Please keep that in mind when you buy these.
